An Epic Fantasy about Fate, humans, elves, Gods, and dragons
Man angered the Gods
Elves failed the Gods
Everyone lost faith in Humanity
Since the beginning of time, man promised never to kill a dragon, the most beloved beast of the Gods. In return, the Gods promised to protect Terrelyn, the human realm, from the dark forces of Gehenna.
No matter the threat or sacrifice, killing a dragon was the ultimate sin. The elves, charged by the Gods, taught man how to interact and live in harmony with the dragons. For centuries, the realms of this world coexisted, and the Gods maintained balanced and held back the evil spirits from Gehenna.
One hundred and fifty years ago, solders of Terrelyn unintentionally killed Ravage, the Great Spirit Dragon and only one of its kind, while fighting to make their way to safety through an unexpected storm. The balance between good and evil was disrupted, and the connection between Terrelyn and Orynelle was broken.
Angry, the Gods turned their backs on man and elves alike and let Moira orchestrate the future of both realms. The Gods promised to return once Moira sent the Marked One to restore balance. The Gods swore to claim the Marked One as a sacrifice for the failures of both man and elves and promised to never let Moira’s plans unfold.
The solders of Gehenna’s goal was to overpower Orynelle and force the elves to bow down to the Dark Lord’s rule. Terrelyn served as the Dark Lord’s gateway to Orynelle. The elves, assuming their power was too great for the Dark Lord, did not take the threat to their realm seriously. The elves refused to help man and did nothing while the evil spirits caused destruction and death throughout Terrelyn.
